These chairs are smaller in height than your average chair. I bought these with an 8 foot folding table to use for a fish and chip supper at a retirement complex. When they arrived they were much lower than i had expected.

These chairs are so comfortable, and add a touch of colour to my art classes.

Right size average living room. Good quality,we use it, at our mums. When we all have get together. Here are the specifications for the Harbour Housewares Padded:

Sturdy chairs, worth for the price.

Small for the folding table but they ended up perfect and were comfortable to sit on and light enough. The chairs were not as tall as i thought and i was worried that they would be too small for the folding table but they ended up perfect and were comfortable to sit on and light enough to store easily. Would recommend them and i am planning in purchasing another 4 chairs as 10 fit round the matching table.

Best in price range: padded, comfortable, smooth action. I really cannot fault these chairs, although as some reviewers say, maybe they are not for overweight folkthey were exceptionally good value and this made me expect a poor quality item. I was surprised to find that they are not poor quality; i am giving them five stars because they are the perfect combination of ‘adequate’ quality, ease of use, portability *and price*. The chairs are definitely not the strongest or most durable in terms of product finish and they scratch easiy on the metal, but for the money, seriously, if you’re lacking a few chairs then these are perfect for occasional use. In my case i bought them as i hire out my home for holiday guests (affuent, demanding ones) so i needed a chair that looked nice and was comfortable at the kitchen table but which wouldn’t eat into the profit margin for the business. The chairs are well padded and comfortable–more than i had expected–and have a nice smooth open-close action and feel sturdy. I would not trust them for obese people as i mentioned, but for the crazy low price, the fact they fold away so nicely for storage, and how comfortable they are, they are the right balance. I think it is very important when reviewing, to give the price of an item consideration; yes you can get ‘better’ quality chairs especially in the metal anodising and edge finishes to the metal components, but for this sort of price bracket, i’d be surprised if youcan find a nicer chair.

Great price although one of the seats split after just one use.

This chairs are only suitable for light use. These are cheap and chearful. I will not recommend these for heavy body people.

Good quality sturdy chairs that are easy to store. Perfect for use in our caravan awning.
