Eliza Tinsley 618KTAG/LTN High Back Leather Faced Executive Armchair : Very pleased with this chair

I’ve suffered with a couple of very bad office chairs so i looked around for ages before buying this one, and was a little dubious about buying it without trying it first. I needn’t have worried though. It’s super comfy, it looks great and i had no problems putting it together on my own. I work from home and spend hours in the chair and it never feels uncomfortable.

Aesthetically pleasing and supremely comfortable piece of furniture. This is an exemplary and ergonomically efficient product, with a straightforward, five-stage assembly process. The delivery of same, and the manner and condition, in which the package arrived, was similarly outstanding, courtesy of the couriers,’dpd’, who deposited the item, with us, at precisely the very first minute of declared/anticipated time slot. Will have no hesitation, in re-ordering same, whenever required. Aesthetically pleasing and supremely comfortable piece of furniture.

On checking all the parts they seemed fine on visual inspection and the unit seems to assemble. Three stars due to the state of the packaging i may revise this higher after a while using. The padding on the base feels thin. The package had obviously been opened and repacked the arms where in opened plastic sleeves the castors loose in the box etc. The top of the box was open on arrival and 2 holes in the side had been sealed by sellotape the box was not clean and had clearly had a hard life. On checking all the parts they seemed fine on visual inspection and the unit seems to assemble well and easily all the parts/tools needed where enclosed.

Love the chair but the right arm has a lump in it which is uncomfortable and am worried that the leather will wear badly in that spot.

Great value chair which looks like it cost much more than it did. . Looks great in the office, comfortable enough, superb quality for the money and very easy to assemble.

Eliza tinsley executive chair. I will like to recommend it to people who want that extra touch of quality without blowing their budget.

Five stars for the way it looks, three for the way it feels. If you are into that kind of style, the armchair holds all its promises. I personally think it looks fantastic – both elegant and original. However it looks more comfortable than it really is. Mine reclines fine, but when in upright position you tend to lean if not slide forward a little. It’s ok when i’m working and to be clear it’s perfectly acceptable, but it’s not the best seat to relax in. I’m still very happy i bought it. Take off a star: it still looks great, but is really not that comfortable.

    Arrived quickly and easy to put together. Looks real good too and leather is high quality. Only negative is that the lowest setting for height is too high for small people.

    Fantastic seat, but too tall for average/smaller people. I got this chair almost 3 years ago, so able to give a well rounded review. The reason for the 3 stars is due to the hight of the seat. I am 5’8″, so not tall but not that short. However when the seat is at its lowest i can barley sit my feet flat on the ground, meaning i have to tilt the chair forward which i dont find that comfortable. It also meant i needed to get a taller desk than intended. Also the arm rests are pretty tall. That said, it is a relatively comfortable seat apart from this. The padding is holding up well and still all in the correct place. Some of the leather is starting to discolour slightly on the armrest, but that is to be expected after 3 years of constant use at this midrange price.

    High design and quality – loses a star for function. Lovely design – very comfortable – adds a little luxury to the home office however i read this is supposed to recline??. Mine only tilts back a bit (it could be me) but it bounces back upright too. Otherwise i still love the look and comfort.

    This appears to be a well manufactured chair. The standard of finish is excellent and the chair itself is very comfortable. The lift mechanism works well and despite previous reviews the tilt mechanism also works well. The chair can also be used as a more than adequate rocker. I would have given five stars but unfortunately the packaging was damaged when received and does not appear to be strong enough for international shipping. The chair itself was undamaged. While the assembly instructions were clear there is no explanation of how to put the tilt mechanism into operation. The unit as shipped has the tilt mechanism locked.

    Good leather chair and solid constructionit doesn’t tilt back as much as my older chair.

    Looks great, feels nice, odd forward sitting position. . Arms are higher than expected 25 – 30 cm higher than seat. Leans forward too much which makes you feel like you are perched rather than fully seated. Forced to leave it in recline for full comfort, which means there’s no ‘real’ recline position as it doesn’t go that far back. There is a knob at the bottom to adjust the angle of the seat but the difference is debatable. Although the chair is very nice, if i’d known this prior i would have chosen another.

    Easy to set up and looks great. Easy to set up and looks great. It’s also very comfortable and the build quality is what you would expect of a chair this price. I’m very happy with it, definitely the best office chair i have owned.

It`s one of the best chairs on the market and you better hurry because no other company can beat such a good price for a real leather, yes, i repeat real leather. We assembled the chair for not more than 15-30 minutes altogether and it looked like something from a quality catalogue, nothing to do with all the previous chairs that we already had in the past (which price range was £60-150). Be prepared to pay hundred pounds more for this one but you will experience the awww factor. Highly recommended,classy and comfortable.
